About JPA Logging
(Transcribed) Justin here, the owner of JPA logging, small, fully mechanized ground-based crew. Just woodlots really, just do woodlots. Not in any corporate forestry yet. Three full-time machines. A processor, harvester, forwarder, and obviously a loader. But then I've got a spare digger and a bulldozer for when they’re needed.
The Problem:
(Transcribed) We are always at least an hour from town, like it is a good hour out to here, from town. So yeah, there's never really any mechanics around or hose doctors
The Solution:
(Transcribed) Now I've got this [BOApod], fully mobile, like even just like when you turned up, we blew that hose and if this (The BOApod) wasn't here, then I'd be off into town to get [the hose] it made.
Yeah, it would have been parked up for the rest of the day, but I made that hose pretty quick. So it's pretty simple to make a hose. Especially with this being so user-friendly like it's pretty easy just to cut a hose to length, shoot around the other side, get the right fitting and crimp it on, it's pretty, pretty easy.

The BOApod
(Transcribed) It’s got everything in it. It's really well set up. User-friendly, Good to tow, really good to tow, got a massive breaking system on it. Like when you hit the picks, it slows you up. It’s really good for that. With your cutter being right there, you can just pull it out, cut it off. And the crimper on the other side works really well.
They take a beating, definitely take a beating like those main hoses that come over the dipper arm down to the head, they take hiding all day long, just getting bashed by trees and sticks and whatnot.
Seems to handle it really well.
Benefits of the BOApod for JPA Logging
(Transcribed) It's a big saving, doing it yourself rather than getting a shop to do it. It's a huge saving actually.
Doesn't matter what size you are, because you're always going to blow hoses. Just to be able to make your own hose and not have to worry about the shop, not being open or after hours or anything like that. And although you're doing many of them, it might just take you a longer time for it to pay for itself, but eventually, it's going to, and then you've always got it. Especially if you want to upsize.
And for me, I have started making hoses for other crews as well. Just mates in that, that have other crews, I'm always passing crews on the way to my crew. Like there's another five crews on our road at the moment.
So, yeah, I'm hoping to be able to make their hoses at the same time.

(Transcribed) The BOAhub works really well. You just need a fitting and you bring the app up and order it. It normally turns up the next day with a bag of jet planes.
